Using VNC Viewer on JB iPod Touch 2.2 firmware for Vista

Hey it's Saved0ne with a tutorial for you guys.
---------------------------
This is a tutorial to setup up VNC Viewer (from app store) with Windows Vista and an iPod Touch. This allows you to CONTROL your WHOLE PC with your iPod Touch.
Download link for VNC for PC:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=FM84ESGO

^Only downloadable after downloading the MegaUpload Manager, which is on the bottom right of that link. Watch video first.

Here is the video I posted on Youtube, on how to do it... I'll post some instructions for those who still need some help, or don't want to watch the video.

Steps:
You need an iPod Touch with firmware 2.0+ and a USB cable that's iPod connectible.

  1. Download MegaManager from here.
  2. Install it... you can uninstall it after, but it comes in handy.
  3. Now, download the VNC Server executable from here.
  4. Install that, you'll need to keep this, unlike the MegaManager.
  5. If you're on a Vista, you will open the VNC Viewer (please watch video for this).
  6. Open JUST the server, now, you won't see anything pop-up, but if you look at the bottom right, near your Time Bar, you'll see a VNC icon... this shows it is working.
  7. Now turn your iPod Touch with 2.0+ firmware on, then go to the App Store and search for: VNC Viewer, and download the free version, you can buy the full, but the free/lite version does the job.
  8. Wait for it to install, then open it.
  9. You'll see a BIG YELLOW BUTTON... and up at the top right, click CONNECT, and make a connection.
  10. (If you're iPod IS JailBroken, and you DO have the SBSettings Menu, drag from your TIME BAR at the top of your Ipod Touch's screen for the Menu... and it will give you your iPod's IP Address, if not, go to your iPod's Settings Menu, and get it from there).
  11. Type that IP Address into the CONNECT bar and viola, you can connect all you want, and control your Computer, from your iPod Touch!
  12. ENJOY!
Please email me, message or comment me on Youtube, Myspace, or Facebook.

Good Luck!

Hey and Welcome!

Hey there, and Welcome to Destroy the Canvas. I currently a website designer, and now I thought I'd create a blog to put some stuff of mine on, from, and about my websites. My biggest website, you might have heard about is True Game Studios (Http://www.TrueGameStudios.com), but it is for my game company, which we are currently in the process of making our first MMORPG, but I won't go far into that right now. My name is Chris, and I am fairly artistic, I believe, although some say otherwise... but I hope you like my blog, so enjoy!

P.S. If you would like a website made for you, I will be more than happy to make you one, with obviously a small price, but a lot less than others! So go ahead and email me at:

chris.voeltz@gmail.com

Also, sometimes you might see my random ramblings so don't pay any attention to them.
Thanks again! Enjoy!
